Hi All,These are the Market Statistics for Athens-clarke county and Oconee County for the 3rd Quarter

My intrepretation:

The days on the market of Active listings is going down, as well as the number of listings.  That is good.  That means to me that there are less houses on the market and they are on less long. 

The days on the market of the solds is higher.  That means to me that we are having some of the older inventory is selling and that is good as well.

 At the rate we are going now, I would say we have about 18 months of inventory. 

A seller’s market is 5 months or less of inventory.  A buyer’s market is 7 months or more of inventory.  So that says to me we are lowering our inventory, but we are still definitely in a buyer’s market.
